DR JOE MC EHILL B.D.S MFDS MAGDS RCSED ADVDIPIMPDENTRCS (ENG) FICD
We were delighted to welcome Dr Joe McEnhill to the practice in 2021. Joe has extensive qualifications and experience in surgical dentistry, Dental Implants and advanced cosmetic dentistry.
Joe qualified from Queen’s University, Belfast, in 2000. He then relocated to Manchester to continue his education and soon joined a leading central Manchester maxillo-facial unit enabling him to participate in major reconstructive surgery.
It was in this post that Joe gained his Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh.
Joe then returned to his native Enniskillen and shortly after, he graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in England with an Advanced Diploma in Implant Dentistry.
Joe has travelled the world in order to learn new techniques from many of the best dental educationalists. Many trips to the USA, Germany, Spain, Brazil, South Africa and the UK has enabled Joe to offer many advanced treatments such as implants, gum grafts, full mouth rehabilitations and digital smile design.
As recognition of the high standard of Joe’s treatment he was awarded the Best Young Dentist in Northern Ireland 2011. He has since received further recognition from the dental industry in 2017 when he was invited to become a Fellow of the prestigious International College of Dentistry.
Joe enjoys giving back to the profession and he currently runs an oral surgery course for dentists; he also mentors dentists in the field of oral surgery and with dental implant treatments.
Not one to sit still throughout the Covid pandemic he has continued developing his academic credentials. He has just successfully completed his Membership of Advanced General Dental Surgery diploma at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 2021.
Joe is now the representative for Northern Ireland in the Association of Dental Implantology for 2022-2024.
